The RTAA Rail Industry Field Day event was held 1-2 March, 2017.
It is a diverse and whole of rail event, co-hosted with Sydney Trains.
It is also the biggest outdoor rail event in Australia.
Over 1,500 individuals from here and overseas attended the seventh event, which took a new and diverse cross-discipline approach for the first time in 2017.
Local and international participants included exhibitors, presenters and on-site demonstrations. Participants came from as far afield as Germany and Spain.
There were more than 100 exhibitors and 40 on-site demonstrations, with KH1 winning the Best on Field Award. The Fettlers’ Shed saw presentations on a wide range of topics with this year’s theme – diversity in rail.
The event takes place generally every second year. Planning is well underway for 2019, but in the meantime, click here to view the images from 2017 and other events.
